23 September — the Spring Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere.
From morning until evening, the sky remained covered in soft white clouds.
“Neither wind nor rain, nor entirely clear.”
With no obvious boundary and no grand announcement, spring in the Southern Hemisphere quietly reached its midpoint.
The Sun reached 180° solar longitude — the Autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the Spring Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere.
In my Southern Hemisphere Seasonal Reading, I mark this moment as Seasonal 0° — establishing a new seasonal coordinate cycle from the perspective and lived seasonal experience of the Southern Hemisphere.
In other words:
Solar Longitude 180° = Southern Hemisphere Seasonal 0°
Around the equinox, day and night are close to equal in length. Beyond this point, daylight in the Southern Hemisphere continues to increase, gradually becoming longer than the night as we move towards the Summer Solstice.
Today, after the equinox, sunlight returned.

9月23日——南半球的春分。
从清晨到傍晚，天空一直笼罩着柔和的白云。
“也无风雨也无晴。”
没有明显的界线，也没有隆重的宣告，南半球的春天，就这样悄无声息地行至中途。
这一天，太阳黄经走到 180°。同一个太阳黄经，在北半球是秋分，在南半球是春分。
在我的 Southern Hemisphere Seasonal Reading（南半球季节阅读） 中，这一时刻被标记为 Seasonal 0°（季节0°）——以南半球的季节经验为出发点，开启一个新的季节坐标循环。
换言之：
Solar Longitude 180° = Southern Hemisphere Seasonal 0°
春分前后，昼夜接近等长。越过这一节点，南半球的白昼继续延长，并逐渐长于夜晚，一路向夏至行进。
今天，春分之后，阳光重新出现。
