At the Southern Hemisphere Spring Equinox, Jingmin Ren explores Solar Longitude 180°, Seasonal 0° and Spatial Time through seasonal observation, bamboo, silk and Chinese seal imprinting. The work connects astronomical coordinates with lived experiences of time, season and place.

Hong Kong News Agency reports on the completion of Jingmin Ren’s Solar Longitude – Time Orbit | 太阳黄经－时间轨道 at Bondi Sea Wall, Sydney. Created with the approval and support of Waverley Council, the public artwork connects solar longitude, the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, Southern Hemisphere seasonal experience, Chinese calligraphy and the Bondi coastal landscape.
