ABOUT YUAN BOUNDLESS
YUAN BOUNDLESS™ | 元无界 is an ongoing interdisciplinary art system and philosophical framework created by Jingmin Ren 任静敏. It explores space, time, consciousness, and the relationship between humanity and nature through an evolving contemporary artistic practice.
The name reflects its underlying philosophy: “Yuan” points to origin — the source before differentiation — while “Boundless” suggests a state beyond fixed boundaries and definitions. Rooted in Ren’s long-standing engagement with Chinese philosophy, spiritual energy and inner perception, the framework brings these ideas into dialogue with contemporary experience.
YUAN BOUNDLESS™ unfolds across Chinese calligraphy, painting, mixed media, public art and emerging sculptural and spatial forms. Rather than defining a single medium or style, it provides an open framework through which Ren’s practice can continue to evolve across materials, places and forms of experience.

SOLAR LONGITUDE – TIME ORBIT | 太阳黄经－时间轨道
Solar Longitude – Time Orbit extends Ren’s exploration of time, nature and human experience into public space and artistic research. Created at Bondi Sea Wall in Sydney in 2026, the work brings together solar longitude, Chinese calligraphy, seasonal knowledge and the Southern Hemisphere landscape.
03 · EMERGING SPATIAL PRACTICE
YUAN BOUNDLESS™ is continuing to evolve beyond the two-dimensional surface toward sculptural and spatial forms, extending Ren’s exploration of time, place and human experience into physical space.
