The central seal “静” (stillness) is surrounded by bookmark-style seal impressions featuring phrases centred on the character and words that extend its meaning. Together, they unfold different qualities of stillness: clarity of mind, steadiness amid change and an emerging inner light.
Part of XINYIN LIUNIAN® | 心印流年, the work explores how language, material and the present moment meet in each imprint. The relationships between the characters and phrases invite viewers to slow down and consider the many meanings that grow from “静.”
