Love of Pisces No. 2

from $100.00

Flow of Light Series
Oil on canvas · 50 × 78 cm · 2022

Love of Pisces II is an oil painting from Jingmin Ren’s Flow of Light series. Continuing the visual language of Love of Pisces I, the work explores love, transformation and the intuitive connection between two lives through flowing colour and dreamlike movement.

The two fish move together through an imagined world of light and changing currents. Their circular relationship suggests companionship without confinement—two independent beings drawn towards one another while continuing to move freely within a shared journey.

Through its fluid composition, Love of Pisces II reflects love as a source of balance, resilience and renewal. Even as the surrounding waters change, connection becomes an inner light that guides the figures through uncertainty towards harmony and possibility.

The Flow of Light series has been presented in multiple exhibitions and public contexts in Sydney, including at Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre in 2023 and 2025. Selected works from the series were also featured in digital presentations in Times Square, New York, and London in 2024, presented by Plogix Gallery.
