Cosmos Museum – Interwoven Real & Virtual | 宇宙博物馆－虚实相生 explores the Chinese concept of 虚实相生 (xū shí xiāng shēng) — the interplay and mutual generation of the real and the virtual. The work creates an imagined space in which visible and intangible realities coexist, reflecting on how different dimensions of experience can encounter and transform one another.
Cosmos Museum – The Heart Embraces the Universe | 宇宙博物馆－心包太虚 extends this exploration through the philosophical idea of 心包太虚 (xīn bāo tài xū) — the heart or mind embracing the vastness of the cosmos. The work connects inner experience with cosmic space, considering the relationship between human consciousness and a reality extending beyond the individual.
Together, the two works bring Eastern philosophical thought into a contemporary visual context, exploring relationships between the real and the intangible, the inner and the cosmic, and the individual and the universe.
