📌 Everyone hopes for a life filled with happiness, peace, and harmony.

In Chinese culture, the character “吉” (jí) symbolizes good fortune and auspiciousness. Across dynasties, people have created countless phrases and visual symbols around “吉” to express their blessings.

Here’s a special series of my “Seals of the Soul” 🪨 inspired by 吉 — the joy-bringing character of luck:

🔸 1. 吉事有祥，大吉
Jí shì yǒu xiáng, dà jí
Good things come with omens of blessing. Great luck follows.

🔸 2. 吉，安且吉兮
Jí, ān qiě jí xī
From Book of Songs. May peace and harmony be with you, inside and out.

🔸 3. 吉象，吉祥
Jí xiàng, jí xiáng
“Auspicious Elephant” 🐘 — a homophone of 吉祥. The image and sound blend to symbolize blessings and harmony.

Jí rén tiān xiàng, dà jí xiáng
Heaven supports the virtuous. Blessings follow those with kind hearts.
