From the Wilderness of New Zealand to the Heart of Times Square
I.序章:天地间的呼吸 | The Prelude: Breath of the Universe
On January 23, 2026, as the grand screens of Times Square illuminated my ink, I stood in the profound silence of New Zealand’s wilderness. At that moment, "Yuan Boundless" quietly began its first chapter.
I was struck by a divine sight: above, clouds unfolded like silent lotuses; below, geothermal steam rose from the depths. Clouds in the heavens, steam in the mortal realm—yet they resonated in my vision. I realized then that "Boundless" is not a void; it is the ceaseless, nameless flow of "Qi" between heaven and earth.
Carrying this epiphany, I wrote: "Yuan Boundless: The ultimate man has no self; the spiritual man has no merit; the sage has no name."
II. 笔间的修行 | The Alchemy of the Brush
In this inaugural piece, I did not seek technical flamboyance, but rather aimed to construct a philosophical field that transcends time, culture, and the spirit.
Four "Wu": Liberation through Stripping
The four "Nothingness" are a rhythmic stripping away of identity and attachment, returning to the undefined origin—"Yuan".
Three "Ren": The Leap of Being
The three characters for "Human" evolve from the weight of the earth to the lightness of the clouds. They are no longer mere symbols, but traces of life wandering between heaven and earth.
III. 印章:内外的自持 | Seals: The Inner and Outer Self
(“Garden of No-Form” and “Seals of the Soul”: Anchors of a spiritual journey across time.)
( “The Daughter of the Sun”: My eternal vital essence.)
(“Seal of Jingmin Ren” (Outer): A formal declaration of the creator in the present.)
(“Jingmin, the Benevolent” (Inner): Not a title, but a self-sustained yardstick—observing the heart with stillness, responding to the world with agility, and establishing oneself with benevolence.)
IV.
Born in the spirit of New Zealand yet manifested at the "Crossroads of the World" in New York, this synchronicity is the ultimate footnote to "Boundless." It whispers to every traveler: even in the mundane world, a lotus can bloom in the heart.
I am Jingmin Ren. Between the black and the white, I have found my cloud. This is not just my practice; it is an invitation for every soul confined by time and space to touch that undefined, flowing breath of life.
